  The brand-new SRAM Red22 11 Speed Chain features more heavily chamfered outer plates which offer improved shifting and quieter running. Its new inner plate finish and its chrome hardened pin construction both extend the service life of the chain and improve performance overall. The HollowPin construction provides smooth, precise shifting and weight savings without sacrificing strength. The Red 22 Chain is a PowerChain II, meaning SRAM have made it extremely strong and incredibly precise. The road bike chain increases front and load shifting performance without sacrificing rear shifting precision. The Step 2 riveting process increases the Push Pin Power for increased strength and durability. SRAM chain engineers have implemented their PowerLock technology into the Red 22 Chain so you can easily connect the chain without the need for any tools. The especially tight tolerances of 11 speed drive trains mandated that each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only.
