At the heart of this refrigeration centrepiece is the LG Linear compressor, its smart mechanism delivering maximum cooling efficiency whilst saving energy - and making very little noise. The interior of the GWL227HBQA boasts LG’s Total No Frost system. This keeps your fridge hygienic and odour free and means no more defrosting, with powerful cold air circulation ensuring the internal temperature remains consistent throughout. Clever digital sensors monitor the fridge and freezer, reacting instantaneously. This, along with faster cooling, helps restore the temperature when you’re had the doors open, or if you’re experiencing fluctuations in temperature. The 365L fridge has 3x slide out tempered glass shelves, 4x door baskets, a Dairy Corner and 2x salad drawers including Moist Balance crisper technology. This is a special lattice-type box cover which maintains moisture at an optimum level. Moisture from stored food is evaporated and then condensed on the lattice, maintaining the correct balance of moisture in the box. The 173L freezer has 4x door baskets, 2x tempered glass shelves and 2x drawers and an ice cube maker. The ice maker is built into the door (as opposed to the top of the freezer) which leaves space for 2 extra shelves. The exterior of the GWL227HBQA features a streamlined touch LED control panel, plus ice and water dispenser. This is tall and wide, allowing larger containers to be filled. LG even treat the gasket with an anti-bacterial agent, preventing mould growth which could distort and stain the door seals.
