This built-in stainless steel steam oven provides the ideal way to cook vegetables, fish and meat healthily, at temperatures ranging from 40°C to 100°C. Using the 3 shelf levels, you can cook various dishes at the same time, without any intermingling of flavours. The results are exceptionally tasty thanks to gentle heating, as you retain more of the vitamins and minerals in food; no loss of texture, taste or colour; food remains moist and does not dry out. Cooking is healthier as there’s no need to add salt or oil, and the HB34D552B is also ideal for refreshing or reheating leftover food or heating up a latecomer’s dinner without compromising on quality. And because you use lower temperatures, less energy is used. The 4 main functions are: Hot air Steam Hot air and steam combined Reheating 40 fully automatic programmes take the guess work out of cooking: enter the weight using the retractable controls and the oven does the rest. There’s also a large capacity 1.3L water tank for longer cooking times (in excess of 1 hour), and a tank empty indicator to remind you to refill the water. The clean and descale programmes makes routine cleaning a simple task, while a pull-down door is used to access the interior. For extra flexibility the HB34D552B can also be used as a fan oven, with a hot air cooking range 30° to 230°C.
