The ceramic induction hob has 5 burners: ultra-efficient induction works by creating a magnetic field between the hob and steel or iron pan. The heat is instant; it's easily controlled and energy efficient. The 2 side-by-side electric fan ovens both have programmer/timers, and the main oven features a defrost setting. There's a separate dual circuit grill, the cooker is height adjustable and has catalytic stay-clean liners. Note: Only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include: enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable. Rangemaster’s original range cooker, made in 1830, was a revelation to the cooking fraternity. They are still manufactured in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, benefiting from over 200 years of manufacturing excellence. Exclusive to John Lewis, the Britannia T-line dual fuel multifunction double oven cooker brings a sleek stainless steel touch to the traditional range cooker. With an up to date LCD clock, digital style programmer, stainless steel control knobs and height adjustable legs. And it's adaptable for LPG. The 2 side by side A energy-rated ovens have triple-glazed, removable doors and glass for easy cleaning. The programmable main oven (W60cm) has fan, conventional or fan assisted defrosting, cooking and grilling; it also features a Quick Start fast pre-heat system. The conventional secondary oven (W40cm) contains a grill and rotisserie, and both ovens have top and bottom finishing for browning or for pizzas and pastry. With 6 burners, including a triple ring and a central one, plus individual heavy duty cast iron pan supports in anti-acid matte finish enamel. With flame failure cut out. The storage compartment at the bottom will take pans up to 10.5cm tall.
