The powerful 1800W motor was developed and manufactured by Miele in Germany, ensuring exceptional cleaning performance with maximum dust elimination. It has variable power settings, powered via a rotary dial, with the maximum power level of the vacuum cleaner used with mains electricity being higher than in battery mode. The 4812 has a smooth running floor head with retractable brushes for edge-to-edge cleaning of carpets and hard floors. Its 360º comfort swivel joint makes it easy to manoeuvre within its 9m corded operating radius, and it has an ergonomic handle and automatic cable rewind. The 3.5L dust bag is self-sealing, and there's an indicator light to tell you when it needs to be emptied.
