The Miele G5500SCclst boasts a CleanSteel exterior, a special finish that is resistant to fingerprints and soiling. Simply wipe with a damp cloth for exceptionally low maintenance. The triple A-rated dishwasher is a full-sized machine boasting 14 place settings and features 6 versatile programmes, including an energy saving 50°C wash, and a lower basket intensive programme. The G5500SCclst also uses a miserly 10L of water on a standard programme. There’s a soft close mechanism that makes shutting the door effortless and also a timer delay, so you can take advantage of off-peak electricity. The 6 cycles are: Pots & Pans 75°C Sensor wash Sensor wash gentle Light soiling 50°C Quick wash 40°C Energy save The Miele’s Auto Sensor monitors the turbidity of the water, detecting any particles, and thus continuously adjusts the temperature, programme duration and quantity of water and energy used to achieve the best results most economically. Need your dishes in a hurry? No problem – push the Turbo button, this nifty function reducing the duration of programmes by an average of 30%. A handy display tells you how many minutes are left of the wash cycle. And because it's angled to face you, it's easier to read. An intensive lower basket option also lets you give your heavily soiled pot and pans a good blitz too. The patented Miele 3D cutlery tray sits at the top of the machine; each piece of cutlery is washed in its own slot, achieving better washing and drying results and also allowing you to wash stainless steel and silver cutlery in the same load. It also features a central channel that can be lowered to accommodate larger utensils, and the side trays can be moved aside to create extra headroom for tall items in the upper basket. The upper basket has hinged spikes and cup racks and a height adjustable rail for glassware. A jumbo cup-rack provides space for over-sized cups. The top basket is adjustable and it has foldable plate supports in the bottom basket. After the last rinse cycle room air enters the machine at the bottom of the appliance, and is circulated between the internal and external cabinet walls. The cooling effect of this air circulation enables the moisture in the cabinet to condense against the inner cabinet walls and then be drained out of the dishwasher. This Turbothermic plus drying feature helps ensure your crockery is extra dry for unloading, so you shouldn’t need that tea towel on standby anymore.
