The triple A-rated Miele G5500SC dishwasher is a full-sized machine boasting 14 place settings and featuring 6 versatile programmes, including an energy saving 50°C wash, and a lower basket intensive programme. The G5500SC also uses a miserly 10L of water on a standard programme. There’s a soft close mechanism that makes shutting the door effortless and also a timer delay, so you can take advantage of off-peak electricity. The Miele’s Auto Sensor monitors the turbidity of the water, detecting any particles, and thus continuously adjusts the temperature, programme duration and quantity of water and energy used to achieve the best results most economically. Need your dishes in a hurry? No problem – push the Turbo button, this nifty function reducing the duration of programmes by an average of 30%. A handy display tells you how many minutes are left of the wash cycle. And because it's angled to face you, it's easier to read. The patented Miele cutlery tray sits at the top of the machine; each piece of cutlery is washed in its own slot, achieving better washing and drying results and also allowing you to wash stainless steel and silver cutlery in the same load. If you need to wash your long-stemmed glasses you can even remove parts of the cutlery tray so your champagne flutes will sit in the top basket comfortably. The top basket is adjustable and it has foldable plate supports in the bottom basket.
